Fried Prawns in Sesame Oil - Pazoon Kyaw

INGREDIENTS

1 kg

1/2 teaspoon

1 tablespoon

1 tablespoon

1 teaspoon

2 tablespoons

 

fresh raw king prawns

salt

chili powder

ground turmeric

chicken stock

sesame oil

bamboo skewers

 

 

METHOD
  • Peeled prawns leaving the tails on. Cut along the back of each pawns and remove black spinal cord.  Mix prawns with chicken stock, salt, turmeric and chili powder.
  • Bend prawns into a half circle and thread on skewer through top to tail. Put 3 - 4 prawns on each skewer.
  • Shallow fry skewered prawns with sesame oil until golden brown.
  • Serve immediately with salad.
