Boiled Snapper Fish In Hong Kong Style

INGREDIENTS

1

2 teaspoons

3 tablespoons

1 teaspoon

6 spring onion

2 teaspoons

2 tablespoons

 

 

whole fresh snapper or other fish

salt

vegetable oil

finely grated fresh ginger

chopped

sesame oil

light soy sauce

 

METHOD
  • Scale and clean fish

  • In a wok put enough water to cover fish and bring it to boil.

  • Add in salt and slowly add lower the fish into wok and cover

  • Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes. Remove fish and drain well

  • Heat oil in a pan and add ginger and spring and fry gently until soft and fragrant. Add sesame oil and soy sauce and simmer for 1 minute.

  • Put fish on a serving dish and pour the sauce over the fish and server hot with white rice.
