Braised Spare Ribs

Dim Sum Recipes

 
INGREDIENTS

2 lb

4 tablespoon

1/2 teaspoon

2 tablespoon

1 tablespoon

3 tablespoon

1 cup

spare rib with bone
vegetable oil

salt
dark soy sauce
rice wine
brown sugar
water
 

METHOD
  • Salt spare ribs thoroughly.
  • Heat oil and brown spare ribs. Add rice wine.
  • Add 1 cup of  water and bring to a boil. Add dark soy sauce and cook spare rib in low heat for 40 minutes turning ribs every 15 minutes.
  • Add brown sugar and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with Chinese tea.
