Stewed Pork Meatball Soup with Bak Choy

INGREDIENTS

1 lb

1/2 lb

Pork Marinate

2 tablespoons

1 tablespoon

1 teaspoon

1 tablespoon

1 teaspoon

1/2 teaspoon

1/3 cup water

2 tablespoon

Sauce

2 tablespoons

1 tablespoon

1 cup

pork loin
bak choy (chinese cabbage)

dark soy sauce
rice wine
salt
spring onion, pureed
ginger, pureed
sugar
water
cornflour

METHOD
  • Mince pork. Add marinade and mix well and set aside
  • Roll pork loin into balls and pan fry both sides until brown.
  • Wash and cut off stems of bak choy and stir-fry in some oil. Season with salt.
  • Place bak choy in clay pot. Add meatballs. Add 1 cups water and dark soy sauce. Close lid and simmer for half an hour.
  •  Add sugar and cook for another 20 minutes.
