Braised Fish with Tau Fu

Fish and Seafood Recipes

 
INGREDIENTS

500g

1 piece

2 stalk

2 slices

3 cloves

2 tablespoons

1/2 teaspoon

1 teaspoon

2 teaspoons

1 tablespoon

 

tilapia fish , whole

tau fu

spring onion

ginger

garlic

soy sauce

salt

cooking wine

fish sauce

corn flour, mix with water

 

 

METHOD
  • Clean fish and sprinkle some salt and rub well.

  • Chopped ginger, spring onion and garlic and set aside.

  • In a wok heat 4 tablespoons of cooking oil. When oil hot, deep fry fish until golden brown and set aside.

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of remaining oil in wok and fry ginger and garlic till fragrant.

  • Add in soy sauce, fish sauce and cooking wine and stir fry. Add in fish and tau fu and stir fry and and in a bit of corn flour to make the sauce thick.

  • Serve hot with white rice.
