Steamed Prawns with Garlic

Steamed Shrimps Chinese Style

 
INGREDIENTS

500g

5 glove

1 stalk

1 teaspoon

1 tablespoons

1 tablespoons

 

tiger prawns

garlic

spring onions, chopped

chicken stock

chinese cooking wine

light soy sauce

 

 

METHOD
  • Wash prawns, and cut along the back of each pawns and remove black spinal cord.

  • Chopped garlic and in a bowl mix chicken stock, chinese cooking wine, light soy sauce and marinate prawns for 30 minutes.

  • Punch a bamboo sticks from head to tail in order to straighten the prawns. Repeat this for every prawns.

  • Place prawns in a plate and spread spring onion and garlic on top.

  • In a wok bring water to boil and steam prawns for 10 minutes.

  • Serve hot with chili sauce or Thai dipping sauce
