Fried Chicken Joints with Lime Juice - Ayam Goreng Limau

INGREDIENTS

1 kg

2 tablespoon

1 cup

2 teaspoon

1/2 teaspoon

4 tablespoons

 

 

 

chicken joints

lime juice

peanut oil

soy sauce

sugar

cornflour

salt to taste

 

METHOD
  • Wash chicken and cut each joint into 4 pieces. Pat dry with absorbent paper and set aside in a bowl. Add salt, sugar and lime juice and marinate for 2 hours.

  • Drain chicken and rub with the corn flour, particularly on the skin and leave for 15 minutes.

  • Heat oil in a deep wok until oil is hot. Add chicken joints into wok one by one and deep fry until golden brown and crisp.

  • Drain excess oil and serve hot with vegetable salad.
