Fried Chicken Joints
with Lime Juice - Ayam Goreng Limau

INGREDIENTS |

lime juice
peanut oil
soy sauce
sugar
cornflour
salt to taste

METHOD |

Wash chicken and
cut each joint into 4 pieces. Pat dry with absorbent paper and
set aside in a bowl. Add salt, sugar and lime juice and marinate
for 2 hours.

Drain chicken
and
rub with the corn flour, particularly on the skin and leave for
15 minutes.

Heat oil in a
deep wok until oil is hot. Add chicken joints into wok one by
one and deep fry until golden brown and crisp.

Drain excess oil
and serve hot with vegetable salad.
