Asian Recipes - Fried Fish Fillet Malaysian Style

INGREDIENTS |

fish fillets - monkfish, sole or plaice
light soy sauce
fresh root ginger, crushed and chopped
sunflower oil
spring onions, shredded to garnish
clove garlic, crushed

METHOD |

Place the fillet
in a shallow dish and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Set a side and marinate with light soy sauce.

Heat oil in
a deep frying pan. Dip the fish in the pan and fry for 4 -5
minutes, until brown. Drain on absorbent kitchen paper and set a
side.

Heat 1 tablespoon
oil in the frying pan and add ginger, onions and garlic
and stir fry until fragrant and brown.

Sprinkle the
ginger, onions and garlic over the fish and serve hot.
