Squid with Green Beans - Goreng Sotong Sayur

INGREDIENTS

300g

500g

1 clove

3

1 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

3 tablespoons

 

 

 

fresh squid, clean discard the head and everything inside the body

green beans

garlic, crushed

shallots, chopped

chicken stock

pepper

vegetable oil

 

 

METHOD
  • Wash inside the squid and rub off skin. Chopped tentacle and cut into pieces and put aside.
  • In  a wok heat oil, add garlic, shallots and stir fry for a minute.
  • Add in green beans, chicken stock and stir fry and add 1/4 cup water and in low heat simmer for 3 minutes until beans are tender. Add in squid and stir fry for 2 minutes and season with pepper.
  • Serve hot with white rice.
