Asian Recipes of Vietnam - Pork Chop

Asian Food - Thit Heo Kho Tieu

 
INGREDIENTS

500g

1 teaspoon

1/2 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

2

2 teaspoons

 

lean pork chop

sugar

chicken stock

pepper

spring onion, thinly sliced

fish sauce

 

METHOD
  • Remove bone and cut pork into thin strips. Fry in a deep small saucepan and add all the above ingredients with 4 tablespoons of water, bring it to boil.
  • Stir and cook for 3 minutes on high heat and reduce heat to simmer for 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Stir the meat until turn brown and cooked.
  • Arrange on a plate and serve with white rice.
