INGREDIENTS |
2 cups

medium grain rice
peanut oil
light soy sauce
spring onions, shredded to garnish

METHOD |
- Wash rice well and drain for 20
minutes or until dry.
- Heat peanut oil in a saucepan
with a well fitting lid. Fry Rice, stirring gently for 15
minutes or until rice becomes opaque and turns golden.
- Add hot water and bring to boil,
then reduce heat to very low. Cover tightly and cook for 25
minutes.
- Serve with nuoc cham and other
side dishes.
